Privacy policy

The protection of your personal data is a special concern of ours. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (DSGVO, TKG2003). In this data protection information we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website.

1. Contact us
If you contact us via the form on this website or by e-mail, your data will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent. The following data is processed via our contact form and stored for 2 years:

Name
Phone
E-mail-address
Message

2. Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage. We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit. If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and to allow this only in individual cases. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

3. Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps to display interactive maps. Google Maps is a map service of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, USA. By using Google Maps, information about the use of this website, including your IP address, can be transmitted to Google in the USA. The map content is transmitted by Google directly to your browser and integrated by it into the website. We therefore have no influence on the extent of the data collected by Google in this way. According to our state of knowledge, this is at least the following data:

Date and time of your visit to the website in question,
Internet address or URL of the web page accessed,
IP address, (start) address entered during route planning.

We have no influence on the further processing and use of the data by Google and can therefore not take responsibility for this.
If you do not want Google to collect, process or use data about you via our website, you can deactivate JavaScript in your browser settings. In this case, however, you cannot use the map display.
For the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by Google, as well as your rights and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Google’s privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de).
By using our website, you agree to the processing of the data collected about you by Google Maps Routenplaner in the manner and for the purpose described above.

4. Web analysis (Google Analytics)
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). The use is based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f. DSGVO. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website such as

Browser type/version,
the operating system used,
Referrer URL (the previously visited page),
Host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
Time of the server request

are usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google. We have also added the code “anonymizeIP” to Google Analytics on this website. This guarantees the masking of your IP address so that all data is collected anonymously. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage for the website operator. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. We also use Google Analytics to evaluate data from double-click cookies and also Google Ads for statistical purposes. If you do not want this, you can deactivate this via the Ads Preferences Manager (https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated?hl=de). For more information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics, please refer to the Google Analytics Help (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de). We have concluded a corresponding contract with the provider for commissioned data processing. Your IP address is recorded, but immediately [e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits] pseudonymised. Thus only a rough localization is possible. The relationship with the web analysis provider is based on Privacy Shield. The data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 para. 3 TKG and Art 6 para. 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the DSGVO. Our concern in the sense of the DSGVO (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our web presence. The user data is stored for a period of 14/26/38/50 months.

5. Use of Facebook Social Plugins
Our website uses so-called social plugins (“plugins”) of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plugins are marked with a Facebook logo or the addition “Social Plug-in from Facebook” or “Facebook Social Plugin”. An overview of the Facebook plugins and their appearance can be found here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins. When you call up a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Facebook receives the information that your browser has called up the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook profile or are not currently logged in to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can directly assign your visit to our website to your Facebook profile. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the “Like” button or making a comment, this information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on your Facebook profile and displayed to your Facebook friends. For the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to the Facebook privacy policy: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php. If you do not want Facebook to assign the data collected via our website directly to your Facebook profile, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website. You can also completely prevent the loading of the Facebook plugins with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with the “Facebook Blocker” http://webgraph.com/resources/facebookblocker/.

6. Privacy policy for the use of Instagram
Our website uses functions of the Instagram service. These functions are provided by Instagram Inc, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA. If you are logged in to your Instagram account, you can link the contents of our pages to your Instagram profile by clicking the Instagram button. This allows Instagram to associate your visit to our sites with your account. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Instagram. For more information, please refer to Instagram’s privacy policy: http://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/

7. Facebook pixel
This website uses Facebook pixel code from Facebook for retargeting. The Facebook pixel is an analysis tool for measuring advertising effectiveness. For this purpose, actions that people perform on our site are analyzed. The JavaScript code loads a collection of functions to track these actions. However, this only happens when Facebook ads campaigns are made. If you are logged into Facebook, you can adjust your Facebook Remarketing settings yourself using the following link: https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. If you are not a Facebook user, you can generally set, activate or deactivate your usage-based online advertising on https://www.youronlinechoices.com/at/. Further information on Facebook’s data protection can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.

8. Your rights
You are basically entitled to the rights of information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the data protection authority.
